Six Week Beginners Meditation Course

Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm

September 30th thru November 4th 2019

Fres flowers and a Buddha statue on an alter

This six-week class series introduces the practice of meditation as taught in the Thai Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah. The class series is offered twice a year and is followed by other introductory classes.

Each class consists of one or two periods of guided meditation and a discussion of a variety of topics that help us understand what meditation is and how to practice it.  Participants will be encouraged to establish a regular sitting meditation practice at home.

There is no advance registration, just show up for the first class. If you cannot come to the first class, then you can still join beginning with the second class.  Attendance to this particular series will close at the end of the second class.

Doors open at 6:45 pm, class starts at 7:00 pm sharp and goes till 9:00.
