Community Work Day at Pacific Hermitage

monk deconstructing wall of small building
Tan Caganando, with a little help from his friends, breaks down the walls of a kuti for its move to a new permanent home in White Salmon.

Each month the Pacific Hermitage benefits from the volunteer participation of lay supporters joining them for a community gathering to work together in the maintenance and upkeep of their dwellings and grounds.

Join in for a meal if you like, and volunteer for whatever time you can in the afternoon. If you wish to arrive for meal offering, plan on being here by 10:30 a.m.

The usual plan is to finish by 4 p.m. It’s always a good idea to carpool.

If you can’t make a particular work party, do not despair, there will likely be another one soon. Your help is our gain, and we deeply appreciate it.

For more details, see the Pacific Hermitage calendar.
