Sunday Sila is a good place to start if you are wanting to get a feel for our community. Usually, this is a small, intimate group of about 15 folks, unless we have one of our more popular teachers, then you’ll want to come early as the room will fill up. Our doors open at 9:45, come on in and find a seat. We begin at 10:00 a.m. with a brief chant, a silent meditation followed by Dhamma reflections, and brief voluntary check-in. As the program ends, we all help clear the room for the next group to set up as they like. This is also a time to mingle if you like, maybe introduce yourself to the teacher or simply head off into your day.
Post pandemic times will include a potluck coffee and chat downstairs following the closing of the service upstairs.
