Friday evening begins with casual tea. Come prepared if you like, to enquire about your spiritual exploration with these esteemed elders of the Ajahn Chah, Thai Forest tradition. Unless you travel to Thailand, you’re not likely to have such an auspicious opportunity again for (at least) years to come.

Saturday morning Luang Por Pasanno will lead a short blessing ceremony for the yet-to-arrive Buddha Rupa, a gift to our community from him, sponsored by one of his devout Thai lay disciples. Keep in mind there is no giving without receiving, no giver without receivers – everyone is welcome, kids are strongly encouraged.

*Simultaneous to Saturday morning at PFoD, the Pacific Hermitage will be hosting “The Inter-dependence Garden Party“, with a focus on tidying-up the gardens, and preparing tent sites for the many monks they will be hosting. Click here for an example of the schedule.
