With in-person gatherings at PFoD postponed till the end of April, Sakula and Matthew invite you to gather together virtually for Sunday Sila and Friday Night Investigations. And check back again because Jessica and Alistair are working on getting the kids program online as well. We are using an app called Zoom to stream video and to allow live Q & A and sharing. You can also watch it, but not interact, on Youtube.
HOW TO JOIN FRIDAY NIGHTS INVESTIGATIONS
We are using an app called Zoom www.zoom.us to stream video of Investigations and to allow live discussion. (That’s Method 1.) There’s no cost, and you don’t need to open an account. You can also watch on Youtube (Method 2).
Method 1: Join using Zoom
To get started,
To get started, just click here. The meeting ID is 390 037 352 You can join in the gathering with video (of yourself) or just audio. (Video is nice because it can give a sense of actually being together.)
If you haven’t used Zoom before, it will ask you to download the app, which just takes a couple of minutes. It will then ask for access to your device’s camera and microphone. It won’t ask you to log in or open an account, but if you do want to set up an account, it’s free. Here’s Zoom’s FAQ
Method 2: View on Youtube: This is even simpler, just click here
The live stream should appear at about 6:55pm tomorrow (Friday). With Youtube, you won’t be able to join the discussion. (But if you leave a comment on a technical issue, we’ll try to answer it for you.) You can also use the above Youtube link to view the video later. Again, no account needed.
